Andrés Gameros Madrigal was born in Mexico City on November 17, 1987. He obtained a degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Campus Chihuahua in December 2010. After this, He was accepted into the postgraduate research program at ITESM, Campus Monterrey; where, with a research stay at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), he obtained the degree of Master of Science with Specialty in Manufacturing Systems. He entered the Doctoral Program at the ITESM Campus Monterrey in January 2013 where he was able to obtain a research stay at the University of Nottingham.
He currently works at the University of Nottingham as a researcher at the Rolls Royce UTC center. His interest in research includes Aero-motors, design of high precision mechanical components, design of fastening attachments and Manufacturing Engineering.
